Derya Turgut is an editorial and commercial photographer, based in Istanbul. With an educational background in culinary arts, Derya’s photography focuses on food, lifestyle and travel. 

Derya is renowned for creating photography for key players in Istanbul’s dining scene and beyond. Her ever evolving photographic eye is attracted to natural light, clean lines and aesthetics. She savours the possibility of finding beauty in the ordinary and everyday details. Clean, natural, simple, refined and timeless are what describe her aesthetic considerations in her photography.   

Derya has also contributed to numerous cookbooks.
